A card with alternate artwork compared to the standard version. It represents the same card, but with a different visual — often full-illustration.

The AA term can also include special variants such as: • AE (Alternative Event): alternate version of an Event card • TR (Treasure Rare): a special Alternative Art variant, exclusive to certain regions or countries

• Often full-art illustration
• Bottom-right rarity remains the original one, or shows a special rarity depending on the card
• Card is usually foil or textured

• Bottom-right: L (Leader)
• Alternate artwork compared to the standard leader

Very rare card found in a set with a low pull rate.

• Bottom-right: SEC

Special card with exclusive artwork, often done by a guest artist.

• Bottom-right: SP
• Unique illustration, different from other versions in the set

Card whose illustration fills the entire surface, without the classic frame.

• Illustration across the whole card
• Little to no frame around the image

A DON!! card with a shiny foil effect.

• DON!! card
• Foil effect on the artwork

Gold version of a DON!! card, much rarer.

• DON!! card
• Gold color

Cards that do not count toward the standard booster box quota. They may appear as bonuses.

This generally includes: Manga Rare, Ghost Rare, Treasure Rare (TR), God Pack (a pack containing only very rare cards).

• Unique or very distinct artwork
• Special visual effects (manga panel, holographic, etc.)
• Special rarity shown in the bottom-right
